Guardians of the Galaxy 2


“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is follows Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians who are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders. When it is discovered that Rocket has stolen the items they were sent to guard, the Sovereign dispatch their armada to search for vengeance. As the Guardians try to escape, the mystery of Peter's parentage is revealed. The film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Dave Bautista as Drax, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper as Rocket and Vin Diesel as Baby Groot. The film also features Kurt Russel as Ego. Ego is a living planet who takes the form of a human. There are five end credits scenes. Hope you enjoy the film.

Titan Con Sci-fi Q&A

On Saturday April 29 Cal State Fullerton hosted its  3rd annual Titan Con.  Their facebook page states “ Titan Con is a non-profit Student Pop-Culture Convention hosted by the students of Cal State Fullerton -- showcasing pop culture, clubs, artists, & entrepreneurs”. It was held at the student union but was open to the public. There were of Characters from the Star Wars franchise and other fandoms walking around. Ghostbusters Stay Puft: An Interview with the Man in the Suit

Within the Ghostbusters franchise, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is likely one of the most recognizable characters. Most hardcore fans recall vividly the image of the giant, marshmallow man lumbering through the streets of New York. In the original Ghostbusters movie, released in 1984, the Stay Puft Man is the physical incarnation of the evil deity Gozer. In the movie, the voice of Gozer announces to the Ghostbusters that she will embody the next thing they think of and destroy the city in that form. Ray Stantz (brilliantly played by Dan Aykroyd), attempts to lessen the damage to the city by thinking of the most harmless creature he can think of: The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
